Zen_IT Recruitment FAQ
1. What makes the Zen_IT process unique?
- Emphasis on portfolio/projects as much as résumés
- Technical simulation (real work, not trivia)
- Interactive interviews (pair programming, diagrams)
- Candidate comfort and collaboration = top priority
2. What should I include in my project portfolio?
Show us anything you’re proud of: GitHub repos, hobby apps, open-source fixes, hackathon work, or even blog posts about tech. Brief context (“what, why, how”) helps!
3. What if I’m between junior and senior level?
Apply anyway! We match challenges to your stated experience and ambition. Growth mindset trumps title.
4. I’m nervous about live coding. Any tips?
- Practice thinking aloud
- Focus on your process, not perfection
- Don’t panic if you get stuck—we value your problem-solving, not wizardry
5. Can I use my own tools/editors during assessments?
Absolutely! We want you at your best, using the workflow that’s familiar.
6. Do you offer remote/hybrid work?
Yes! Most roles are fully remote or hybrid, with flexible hours and meetups for big projects.
7. Do you sponsor visas/international applicants?
We consider talented applicants globally. Visa sponsorship is possible for select roles—let’s talk early in the process.
8. How long does recruitment take?
Most candidates complete the process in 2–3 weeks. We’ll keep you in the loop after each stage.
9. Will I get feedback if not selected?
If you reach the interview stage, yes! We believe in supporting your growth, even if this isn’t the perfect fit (yet).
10. What’s Zen_IT’s onboarding like?
Fast, thorough, and human. Expect access to our knowledge base, your mentor, team intros, and a light “welcome challenge” to have fun with your stack.
Ready to Code, Build, and Create with Zen_IT?
